
“A total of 120,000 narcotic pills were given away without a prescription.” This was the latest about the viral case of violations related to the loss of huge quantities of narcotic pills from the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) announced by the official concerned authorities.
Officials stated that research and investigation were still ongoing on the case in which three employees in the SMC were involved. Two employees, a female, and her male boss used to sell huge quantities of narcotic pills to a third person. In his confessions, the buyer said that the female staff was the one responsible for giving away drugs and receiving sums of money.
It is noteworthy that the arrest of the thieves came after a video about the loss of huge quantities of narcotic pills went viral. The video was of a female doctor who said that she had evidence that the source of narcotic pills used by addicted students was from employees at the SMC.
