On the first Wednesday of every November, SCH Chairman Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa attends the Bahraini Doctor's Day celebration.


His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's continuous follow-up and the support he received from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, were both appreciated by the Chairman of the SCH.


Senior health officials attended the celebration, including Minister of Health Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan.


The Bahraini doctor praised Bahrain's public and private health professionals for their significant contributions to the comprehensive development process, praising their efforts.


He emphasized the importance of training and employment opportunities that align with the Kingdom's sustainable development goals in order to develop the health system and boost its quality and efficiency.


According to Dr. Shaikh Mohammed, Bahrain's health sector has demonstrated high standards, particularly during the Coronavirus pandemic, highlighting the considerable efforts made to protect society and ensure everyone's safety.
A multi-sectoral national partnership was praised by the SCH Chairman as a means of strengthening the health system.


In addition, he discussed the latest developments in health sector development projects, particularly health insurance, facility development, and service quality enhancement.
