Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), participated in the 21st gathering of the GCC Housing Ministers Committee.

The Secretary General emphasized the committee's significant role in enhancing cooperation, coordination, and integration in the field of housing among the GCC countries.

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shuaili, the Omani Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, who also served as the Chairman of the current session. It was attended by housing ministers from various GCC nations.

Albudaiwi extended his gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman, who chaired the current session of the GCC Supreme Council, for his unwavering support. He also commended the leaders of GCC countries for their dedication to advancing collaborative efforts in the realm of Gulf housing.

He highlighted that the meeting's agenda covered a range of critical topics aimed at strengthening collective housing initiatives in the Gulf region. Additionally, he expressed his appreciation for the diligent work of the members of the Senior Housing Officials Committee in preparing for the meeting and expressed his hopes for a productive outcome."
