The Director of Admissions and Registration at Royal University for Women (RUW), Sami Mohammed Daghash, stated that admission for the second semester of the academic year 2021-2022 is still ongoing for high school graduates or students wishing to transfer to RUW from other universities inside or outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Daghash further explained that the admission criteria and required documents list are available on the university's website, where students can view the instructions for applying and complete the application and upload the required documents. He added that the Admission and Registration Department team is always available to help and answer inquiries by calling the toll-free number 80008900 or on WhatsApp 38898800 or through the live chat service via the university’s website www.ruw.edu.bh  or via email admit@ruw.edu.bh.

Regarding the transfer students, Sami indicated that the transfer regulations are available on the university’s website, courses that are similar in academic content and identical in terms of the number of credit hours as well as the minimum final grade will be considered in the transfer process and are subsequently subject to final approval by the Higher Education Council. He pointed out that transferred students will receive a 50% discount for the first semester of joining the Royal University for Women.

Located in an amazing 224,000sqm purpose-built campus, with excellent facilities, RUW provides students with a variety of majors they can choose to study at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These programmes include Bachelors of Business degrees in Banking and Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and International Business.  The College of Art and Design offers Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Architectural Design, and College of Law offers Bachelor of Law which is the only bilingual law programme in the Kingdom where 60% of its curricula is taught in English and 40% in Arabic. The university also offers an exciting opportunity to study for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) which is the only MBA specifically designed with the needs of females in mind.

Royal University for Women is the first private university in the Kingdom of Bahrain to receive the Higher Education Council accreditation and is the only private higher education institution in Bahrain recognised by in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  It is also recognized for undergraduate programmes in Kuwait for the College of Business and Financial Sciences undergraduate programmes, and by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Sultanate of Oman for all programmes offered at the university.
