Bahrain’s coast guards, stationed on the northern coast, managed to save six sailors whose boat was about to sink. This was announced by the Ministry of the Interior through its official social media accounts.

Details of the accident, that occurred in the marine area near the dry dock, indicated that the Coast Guard received a report from the six sailors about being drowning. The Coast Guard Police immediately reached them and pulled them out of the boat and reassured their health and safety. The six sailors and their boat were dropped to the shore.

The Coast Guard commander praised the quick response and called on all sea users to adhere to the regulations and laws and the need to operate the automatic identification device when sailing.
