Ministry of Interior posted an alert on its official twitter account warning citizens and residents against a scam Facebook page that is allegedly spreading fake and fraudulent information.
Anti-Cyber Crime said that the scam Facebook page is managed from outside Bahrain, promoting “Fake grants” aiming to exploit telephone numbers for advertisement purposes and malicious programming.
The Directorate advised citizens and residents to seek information from official channels and avoid dealing with scam links and messages and report them through the hotline 992 of the Ministry of Interior.
