Self-service ID Cards Update Soon

“Self-service devices to update ID cards will be launched soon this month,” revealed CEO of the Information and eGovernment Authority, Mohamed Al-Qaed, in a statement to the media.
He added that more than 83,000 electronic services have been completed regarding ID card transactions since the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic in Bahrain.
Al-Qaed noted that the problem of lack the data about the residence address in the system would not be faced when updating the ID cards via the new service.
