Shura Chairman Congratulates India On Republic Day

Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, today sent cables of congratulations to India’s Council of States Chairman, Venkaiah Naidu, and House of the People Speaker, Shri Om Birla, on their country’s Republic Day, wishing friendly India further progress and prosperity.
Al-Saleh praised the existing parliamentary relations between Bahrain’s Shura Council and India’s Council of States and House of the People, affirming keenness to strengthen those ties for the benefit of the two friendly countries.
The Shura Chairman sent a congratulatory cable to the Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, Piyush Srivastava.
