Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) President Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa held a remote meeting with British Hydrographic Office Chairman Admiral Peter James Sparkes and his work team.
Land Registration director-general Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa and Survey director-general Naji Sabt Salim also took part in the virtual session.
Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa congratulated Admiral Sparkes on his appointment and discussed joint cooperation under the agreements signed between the two countries.
The two parties discussed common issues, focusing on exchanging the marine navigation data and maps, in addition to coordination with regard to the process of marketing and selling Bahraini navigational maps in paper and electronic formats in global markets.
They also discussed the measures taken by the two parties in light of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the development of proposed solutions for continued work. Marine Survey director Rashid Al-Suweidi also took part in the remote meeting.
