Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) today achieved a milestone by becoming able to provide all its services online after its president Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa launched the electronic real estate registrations and mortgage applications.

The online service is provided through the "erws" option available on the SLRB website.

The electronic transformation is in accordance with the objectives of the comprehensive development process, reflecting the royal visions and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Shaikh Salman said.

"The measure is within the SLRB’s plan for comprehensive electronic transformation to provide all services electronically in order to achieve the programs of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister," Shaikh Salman said.

"It is also in implementation of the decisions of the Executive Committee Headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister."

The current conditions sped up work the electronic transformations as directed by the Executive Committee headed by HRH Prince Salman regarding the significance of precautionary measures and social distancing, he added.

The new procedures will contribute to reducing the time to complete transactions by conducting them with speed and efficiency.

"The electronic registration process has been put in place while preserving the authenticity of the real estate document in Bahrain, which has acquired advanced positions in World Bank indicators thanks to strict procedures based on legal texts," Shaikh Salman said.
