The Bahrain Team to combat COVID-19 conducted the largest sterilization campaign so far in the Southern Governorate. This was followed-up by Albilad Newspaper. 

The campaign, conducted in coordination with the Ministry of Interior and other competent authorities, included streets, shops and houses in the governorate. It witnessed heavy cooperation and participation from various civil society organizations like  Al-Qadisiyah Youth Voluntary Center, the Al-Naeem Voluntary Team and the Eighth South Team, and MP Mohammed Al-Buainain.  

Al-Buainain stated that the volunteers’ participation in the sterilization campaign reflected the level of awareness and responsibility towards their country. The MP stressed the need to strengthen support for volunteer teams in different areas to implement sterilization and disinfection projects, in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals to limit the spread of COVID-19.
