National Audit Office (NAO) Auditor General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received Brazilian Federative Ambassador Adriano Silva Pucci.

During the meeting, NAO's activities were reviewed and ways to enhance cooperation were discussed between the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of the two countries and through the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

According to the auditor general, the NAO participated in the 24th International Congress of the International Public Audit Society (INTOSAI), which was hosted by Brazil last year.

As part of the recent meetings on the development of professional standards at the INTOSAI Forum of Professional Pronouncements (FIPP) and Strategic Development Plan (SDP) joint seminar held earlier this year in the Kingdom, Antonio Anastasia, Minister at the Federal Court of Audit of the Brazilian Federative, visited Bahrain.

Asserting his keenness to further strengthen bilateral ties in multiple fields, the ambassador expressed appreciation for the close bilateral relations between the two countries.
