Today, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, had a meeting at Riffa Palace with U.S. Senator Joni Ernst and a delegation comprising members of the United States Congress.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness underscored the longstanding and robust relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, recognizing the extensive history of their bilateral ties and collaborative efforts across various sectors.

The Crown Prince and Prime Minister reiterated Bahrain's commitment to further strengthening these bilateral relations to achieve shared goals and aspirations. His Royal Highness also acknowledged the pivotal role played by the United States, in partnership with allies, in maintaining regional security and stability. He highlighted the Kingdom's dedication to participating in international endeavors aimed at regional and global development.

His Royal Highness emphasized the significance of enhancing the Bahrain-U.S. partnership through reciprocal visits and agreements, including the recently inked Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA). This agreement serves as a cornerstone for broad-ranging collaboration between Bahrain and the United States, spanning security, military, advanced technology, trade, and investment sectors, ultimately benefiting both nations and their populations.

The meeting emphasized the importance of supporting initiatives that promote security, peace, development, and prosperity regionally and globally, for the betterment of all. Furthermore, it underscored the steadfast belief in the necessity of dialogue and diplomatic solutions for addressing regional and international conflicts and ensuring people's rights to peace, development, and prosperity.

Throughout the meeting, discussions also revolved around the latest developments in the region and worldwide, as well as opportunities to enhance bilateral relations.
