Today, at Gudaibiya Palace, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy King, had a meeting with HE Eric Giraud-Telme, the newly appointed Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Royal Highness emphasized the growing strength of the Bahrain-France relationship, rooted in multi-sectoral cooperation, underlining the importance of enhancing this bilateral partnership across all levels to achieve common goals that benefit both nations.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed Ambassador and wished him success in his diplomatic role.

During the meeting, they discussed matters of shared interest, as well as regional and global developments. The Deputy King acknowledged the substantial influence of France on the international stage, recognizing its crucial role alongside allied nations in preserving regional and global safety and security, essential for economic development.

HE Giraud-Telme expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, commending HRH's commitment to advancing bilateral relations to meet mutual objectives.
