In compliance with the directives of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to distribute 6,800 housing services to citizens, the Housing Minister has announced a schedule for the distribution of ready housing units from December 16 to February.

Minister Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi disclosed that financing applications will be processed until the end of 2024. The distribution plan encompasses units in the first phase of East Sitra City, along with a new batch of units in Salman City and East Hidd.

The minister stated that citizens benefiting from these units will be called to set appointment dates starting on December 16, facilitating the completion of procedures for receiving their housing units at the ministry premises.

She highlighted that the ministry has allocated budgets for financing services in 2024, covering over 5,000 applications. Citizens can directly apply through the ministry's website.

Minister Al Rumaihi commended the order of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, coinciding with Bahrain's National Day celebrations, emphasizing that the directives of His Majesty the King and the government prioritize social housing programs.

The minister noted that the housing unit distribution order provides immediate solutions and various options and services for beneficiaries. She added that the distribution of units in the first phase of East Sitra City marks the commencement of this new city, while units in Salman City and East Hidd signify progress in the development of these cities.

The minister extended congratulations to the new beneficiaries and assured that the ministry would work on the timely implementation of His Royal Highness's order.
