General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Interior Minister, welcomed Lord Mark Sedwill, Former UK Cabinet Secretary and National Security Adviser, during his visit to Bahrain to participate in the 19th edition of the Manama Dialogue.

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Bahraini Ambassador to the UK; Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hasan Al Hasan, Chief of Public Security; and Brigadier Mohammed bin Daina, Director-General of Media and Security Culture.

The minister emphasized that hosting this strategic and international forum in Bahrain underscores the kingdom’s dedication to upholding global peace and security, aligning with the royal vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. This vision emphasizes the promotion of peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and openness, contributing to the security and interests of all. The minister also praised the historic relations between Bahrain and the UK.
