Today, HE Isa bin Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, the Advisor for Media Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince, held a meeting with Issa Al Shaiji, the President of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) and Editor-in-Chief of Al Ayam newspaper.

HE Al Hammadi underscored His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's steadfast support for the press sector, reinforcing the crucial role of the Bahraini press in supporting development paths. This commitment involves upholding free and responsible speech, along with the professionalism displayed in reporting various local, regional, and global issues.

HE Al Hammadi reiterated the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the Bahraini press, considering it an integral part of Team Bahrain and a vital collaborator in national achievements and development.

Highlighting the significance of the Bahraini Journalists Association, HE Al Hammadi stressed its role in enhancing local journalism and its enlightening and educational contributions.

In response, Al Shaiji praised the unwavering support of His Majesty the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in strengthening the role of the local press. He emphasized its status as a key partner in the national action process driving development and progress.

Al Shaiji expressed gratitude to HE Al Hammadi and affirmed the BJA's commitment to continuing efforts aimed at developing journalistic work in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
