Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with Barney Riley, the Ambassador of New Zealand to Bahrain residing in Riyadh.

During the meeting, they discussed various topics of mutual interest, including the latest developments in the free trade agreement between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and New Zealand.

The minister expressed appreciation for the strong Bahrain-New Zealand relations and affirmed the Kingdom's commitment to further developing these ties, particularly in the commercial sector.

Fakhro emphasized Bahrain's favorable investment environment, highlighting the advantages and facilities available to investors worldwide. He also underscored Bahrain's economic openness, aimed at attracting investments and positioning the Kingdom as a global investment hub.

Riley praised the efforts dedicated to enhancing cooperation in various sectors.
