The Executive Office of the National Plan for Fostering a Sense of Belonging to the Nation and Strengthening Patriotism, known as 'Bahrainouna,' launched the 'Bahraini Camera' initiative today. This initiative was executed in collaboration with the Ministry of Information during the third Bahrain Film Festival, themed 'Celebrating the Art of Filmmaking,' held at Seef Mall.

During the event, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, the Information Minister, expressed his gratitude to General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister and Chairman of the Bahrainouna Implementation Follow-up Committee, for his unwavering support of the Plan's initiatives. Dr. Al Noaimi commended the efforts of the Executive Office in realizing the objectives of the Plan, which are aimed at promoting genuine Bahraini values.

Dr. Al Noaimi highlighted that the 'Bahraini Camera' initiative, involving 18 Bahraini directors, 10 Bahraini writers, and over 100 Bahraini artists and creatives, is the first of its kind in the Arab world. Its goal is to create a unique cinematic experience to further the objectives of Bahrainouna. This initiative aligns with the government's commitment to empower and prioritize youth, nurture their creative talents, engage them in decision-making processes, and foster their excellence in the fields of creativity and innovation while strengthening their national identity.

Furthermore, Dr. Ramzan Al Noaimi emphasized that this year's Bahrain Film Festival underscores the Ministry of Information's role in promoting the film industry, supporting its various aspects, and nurturing local talent development. He extended his gratitude to all those involved in the 'Bahraini Camera' initiative and wished them success.

Brigadier Mohammed bin Daina, responsible for the Bahrainouna Executive Office, emphasized that the 'Bahraini Camera' initiative embodies pride in the royal vision underpinning the National Plan. He acknowledged the Interior Minister's support as instrumental in launching the initiative. He also expressed pride in Bahrain's civilizational elements and the competencies of its youth across various creative fields, including directing, writing, and technical roles.

Furthermore, he highlighted Bahrain's achievements as the 'Land of Success' in various domains, including cinema and television production. Brigadier Mohammed bin Daina extended his thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Information for its valuable partnership in implementing the 'Bahraini Camera' initiative and wished all participants success.

The event included the honoring of authors and directors for their dedicated efforts in preparing the films presented, along with the screening of a short film about the 'Bahraini Camera' initiative. Additionally, 18 short films showcasing genuine Bahraini values were screened
