His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Omani Crown Prince and Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth, will preside over the opening of the inaugural Duqm Economic Forum scheduled for October 16 at the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD).
The primary objective of the forum is to showcase the overall economic landscape in Oman and, more specifically, the investment prospects within SEZAD. This two-day event will delve into emerging trends in green industries and renewable energy, focusing on key projects that have piqued SEZAD's interest. As a hub for industry, investment, and global trade, the forum will emphasize SEZAD's integral role in advancing Oman's Vision 2040 and the ambition of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
The inaugural forum will concentrate on SEZAD's role in the transition towards renewable energy and technology for production and export.
