Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), participated in the Global Religious Leaders Summit for Climate, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE. This summit was organized by the Muslim Council of Elders in collaboration with the United National Climate Change Conference (COP28).

The summit aimed to explore the role of religious communities and institutions in addressing climate change and its associated challenges. Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed commended the UAE's efforts in supporting global humanitarian causes and emphasized Bahrain's pride in the enduring relationship between the two countries, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He emphasized that the global summit served as a vital platform for the exchange of ideas and expertise, representing a pioneering initiative to engage religious leaders in advocating for climate-related issues.
