His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has instructed the government to organise a campaign to provide relief aid to Palestinians in Gaza to alleviate their suffering due to the dire situation they are in. On Friday, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, will launch a telethon organized by Bahrain TV to support the Palestinians in Gaza.

A donation of BHD 100,000 was made by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in accordance with royal directives to offer urgent humanitarian relief aid.

During the national campaign, Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary-General of RHF and Chairman of the Bahraini National Committee to Support Palestinian People in Gaza, will accept donations and contributions for the Palestinians.

In addition to scholars, intellectuals, and businessmen, the telethon will feature national figures.

The campaign reflects Bahrain's commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause, and he called on all organisations, companies, citizens and residents to support this humanitarian initiative.

As part of the assessment process for Gaza's relief and development needs, UNRWA has been contacted, according to Mustafa.

Including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, coordination is underway with all official entities. According to him, the Ministry of Health is prepared to assist Gazans. The Social Development Ministry has encouraged all associations to collect donations in coordination with the RHF, he said.
