The Secretariat General of the Shura Council welcomed a delegation of staff members from the US Senate and House of Representatives.

During the visit, the delegation received a comprehensive briefing on Bahrain's legislative authority and the advancements achieved under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Dr. Fawzia Al Jeeb, Advisor to the Chairman of the Shura Council, emphasized the significance of such visits in facilitating the exchange of expertise.

She also delivered a presentation that encompassed an overview of Bahrain's legislative authority, its responsibilities, committees, notable accomplishments, and the coordination mechanisms in place between the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
