Under the auspices of Hala Al Ansari, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), the Bahrain Trust Foundation (BTF) organized an art exhibition titled "Portrait of Bahraini Women" to commemorate Bahraini Women’s Day 2023.

Dr. Fatima Al Balooshi, Chairperson of the BTF Board of Trustees, and Safeya Kanoo attended the exhibition, held at the "Safeya Ali Kanoo Hub for Arts and Handicrafts."

Al Ansari was briefed on the artistic works showcased at the exhibition, where more than 30 Bahraini male and female artists participated, presenting around 50 artworks that celebrate the pivotal role of Bahraini women in supporting the social and economic life of Bahrain, highlighting success stories of generosity and creativity.

In her comments, the SCW Secretary-General lauded the commendable efforts of the Bahrain Trust Foundation in fostering the skills of young individuals in the creative economy. She acknowledged the services provided by the Safeya Ali Kanoo Hub for Arts and Handicrafts, including quality training in arts and crafts. This aligns with the diverse humanitarian, charitable, and educational goals and projects of the BTF, benefiting various social groups.

Al Ansari expressed her admiration for the exhibited artworks and extended gratitude to BTF for its commitment to celebrating Bahraini Women’s Day through the medium of art.

Dr. Fatima Al Balooshi expressed pride in the Safeya Ali Kanoo Hub hosting the art exhibition under the patronage of the SCW Secretary-General. She emphasized that the event reflects the significant role played by Bahraini women, showcasing their distinction at the Arab, regional, and global levels.
