Starting yesterday, Monday, March 1, 2021, the possibility of exchanging postal parcels between Bahrain and the Israeli occupation entity began, whereby "Israelis" will be able to send and receive parcels and letters via regular, registered mail and express mail to Bahrain.
The two parties, the governments of Bahrain and the Israeli occupation entity, signed last December, while an Israeli delegation was in Bahrain, a memorandum of understanding in the field of communications.
The Director General of the Zionist Communications Ministry said that the agreement "will create a bridge between the two countries and enable the development of economic and social ties between public and private figures in both countries."
The Director General of Iran Avissar bin Hourin, who signed the agreement, added that the relationship between the occupation and the Arab countries, and the relationship between the Israeli post and the postal authorities in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, will allow the consolidation of trade relations between countries and the provision of broader solutions to Israeli customers for exports and imports.
And the announcement of the UAE and Bahrain to normalize their relationship with the Israeli occupation, publicly, had sparked a wide wave of Arab and international reactions, rejecting and denouncing the agreement, considering this to be a negation of the rights of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause and a service to the Zionist project and all other projects targeting the region, including all the Gulf states.
