Dr. Mohammed Ali Bahzad, Ambassador and Undersecretary for Consular and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, inaugurated the ASEAN Holiday Bazaar organized by the Indonesian Embassy in Bahrain.
The opening ceremony was attended by Ardi Hermawan, the Indonesian Ambassador to Bahrain, along with various ambassadors accredited to Bahrain and other distinguished guests.
Expressing pride in the existing collaboration between Bahrain and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries, Ambassador Dr. Bahzad emphasized the kingdom's commitment to furthering cooperation and coordination with ASEAN states to strengthen their ties and achieve shared interests.
During the event, Ambassador Dr. Bahzad familiarized himself with the distinctive products showcased by participating countries such as the Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. He commended the organizers of the bazaar for their efforts and extended his best wishes for their ongoing success.
The ASEAN Holiday Bazaar aims to promote cooperation between Bahrain and ASEAN countries, fostering a deeper partnership across various fields.
