
Walls and empty spaces on the at the sides of Al-Lulu Street have worn out due to the repeated process of removing violating ads and posters. This was exclusively reported by Albilad Newspaper from the street that is located Capital Governorate.
Sources at the capital municipality exclusively told Albilad that whenever the municipality removes the violating ads. They added that as if removing the violating ads from walls, lighting poles or an electricity box made new spaces for violators to plac new ones.
It is noteworthy that the municipality has recently removed huge numbers of violating ads. In a previous statement, the municipality added that these violating ads significantly increased which, it added, reflected negatively on the aesthetics of the areas and its cultural image.
It explained that the continuation of removal campaigns came as a continuation of their efforts to reduce phenomena contrary to public cleanliness and abusive to the public appearance.
It stressed that the campaigns were still continuing and would reach all the streets and roads in the governorate, in cooperation with the team of cleaning, control and inspection.
The municipality noted it welcomed receiving all communications and complaints through the national system of complaints and proposals “Tawasul” or through messages through its official media accounts or by personal attendance to the municipality building or through the website www.municipality.gov.com

135 violating advertisements removed in one day
The Northern Municipality removed a total of 135 violating advertisements in one day only. This was announced by the municipality through its official website and social media accounts.
The municipality noted that the 135 violating advertisements were in Buri, Aali, Salmabad, Hamad Town and Budaiya Street and the legal measures were taken against the violating companies according to the mechanism adopted in the municipality.
The municipality stated that the removal were carried out in accordance with the articles of a law decree law No. (2) of 1996 on the occupancy of public roads, and the advertising law stipulated by Law No. 14 of 1993 on dealing with violating advertisements and tightening control over violators.
The municipality assured that it conducts periodic campaigns to monitor and remove these violations, between the morning and evening throughout the governorate, according to a well-studied plan to reduce municipal violations and make the governorate a more beautiful place.
It noted that the placing of posters and random advertisements or iron poles was one form of visual pollution and great risk to road users as they cause confusion in the vision of drivers, or faltering by traffic, in addition to distorting the overall appearance of the area.
The municipality added that these violating advertisements significantly increased recently which, it added, reflected negatively on the aesthetics of the regions and its cultural image. It explained that the continuation of these campaigns comes as a continuation of their efforts to reduce phenomena contrary to public cleanliness and abusive to the public appearance.
