An esteemed gathering of HR and Training Managers was brought together by the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) at its annual training managers meeting titled "Training Reimagined." In the rapidly evolving training landscape, the event provided an opportunity for professionals to discuss, share experiences, and explore cutting-edge approaches.


Bahraini financial services representatives attended the meeting and were provided with an insightful overview of the BIBF's recent achievements and future strategic plans for the upcoming year, including the introduction of new programs in partnership with international organizations. BIBF's commitment to staying on top of educational and professional development trends was underlined at the meeting.


A highlight of the event was the gathering of HR professionals' feedback for a skills market study, which ensured alignment with evolving job market demands. In order to formulate future training and development programmes for BIBF, the data collected will be crucial. BIBF training programmes have received a great deal of positive feedback from its trainees. A remarkable 96.2% of HR Managers observed a positive impact on employee performance, indicating a strong likelihood of recommending BIBF's training services to other organizations. 88.5% of HR Managers expressed satisfaction with the overall quality of the training programs. In addition to delivering high-quality training, BIBF maintains an efficient administrative process.


As the event came to a close, BIBF Expert Trainer, Hamad Alfahad, provided valuable insights into how AI is being harnessed to optimise HR processes, enhance recruitment strategies, and increase employee engagement. During his presentation, he discussed the potential of AI to transform the HR field and its critical role in shaping the future workforce.


The BIBF's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh, emphasized the importance of training and development in meeting the escalating demands of a highly skilled workforce. Additionally, Dr. Ahmed stressed the importance of these annual meetings in supporting the industry's growth, further enhancing Bahrain's position as a regional talent hub.
