Bahrain has condemned the “terrorist bombing that targeted a security patrol in the city of Tunis in the Republic of Tunisia, which resulted in the death of a security officer and the injury of others.”

In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry affirmed that “the Kingdom of Bahrain stands by the brotherly Tunisian Republic in its efforts to combat violence, extremism and terrorism.”

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere condolences to the family of the victim, and wishes a speedy recovery to all those injured as a result of this heinous terrorist act. The Ministry also stresses the importance of joining all regional and international efforts to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and to confront all terrorist organisations and those who support or fund them,” the statement added.
