During the 16th night of the auction held in Riyadh, there was a significant presence of falcon enthusiasts and breeders from both within the Kingdom and the surrounding region. Two young peregrine falcons were successfully sold for a combined sum of 154,000 Saudi Riyals. The first falcon, originating from Hail city, fetched 88,000 Saudi Riyals, while the second, hailing from Al Nairyah, was acquired for 66,000 Riyals, with the bidding commencing at 30,000 Riyals.

This auction, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), aligns with the Saudi leadership's dedication to preserving the rich heritage of falconry while providing support to falcon breeders and enthusiasts in both the Kingdom and the broader region. Its overarching goals include boosting investments in falconry, enhancing the operation of falcon auctions, and establishing regulations for the purchase and sale of falcons.
