Two drivers sustained minor injuries in a traffic accident between an unloaded ambulance and a number of vehicles; this was announced by the Ministry of Interior on its official social media accounts.

The traffic accident, which received a massive number views and comments, occurred today afternoon at the Crown Prince’s Street towards Hamad Town. 

Causes of the accident are still unknown as no official details have been revealed yet. But preliminary information indicated that drivers suddenly lost control of their cars. Comments suggested that the accident was apparently due to high speed and lack of attention.

Police were present at the scene to facilitate flow of traffic until the traffic police arrived and removed the car. The Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic stated that injured drivers were transferred to the hospital for treatment. They added that they initiated an investigation into the accident.
