Minister of Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning Eng. Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf held a virtual meeting with First Deputy Speaker of the Representatives Council Abdulnabi Salman, the representative of the Northern Governorate’s sixth constituency.

They discussed urban planning projects in the constituency, especially planning regions surrounding and close to Al-Ramli housing project.

The Minister of Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning praised the role of the members of the Representatives Council in serving the nation and citizens, stressing the importance of continuous cooperation between the legislature and the executive branch.

The meeting cast light on various issues related to the 6th constituency in the Northern Governorate, pertaining mainly to urban planning.

It also shed light on services projects within the general plans and infrastructure projects carried out by the ministry in the constituency.

Both sides also discussed projects included in the ministry’s plan for 2020-2021 and approved within the state’s general budget for the 6th constituency.

The Minister of Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning stressed the ministry’s keenness to implement the directives of the Cabinet, presided by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, to provide the best services for citizens and residents in Bahrain.

For his part, MP Abdulnabi Salman commended the efforts of the Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning to carry out services projects all over the kingdom.

The virtual meeting was attended by Land Development Advisor at the Urban Planning and Development Authority Eng. Alya Rahma.
