“An Asian murderer was arrested in less than a few hours of reporting the crime,” the Director-General of the Capital Governorate’s Police revealed to the media through official social media accounts.

He explained that after receiving a notification of the existence of a dead body lying near a building in Salmaniya area, the Directorate’s police moved to the site accompanied by other competent authorities to conduct an inspection and raise evidence. He noted that upon examining the body of the 23-year-old Asian victim, it became clear that there were traces of injury with a sharp object indicating the existence of criminal suspicion. 

He added that the intensive search and investigation work resulted in the identification and the arrest of the 24-year-old Asian murderer who was a friend of the victim and the cause was a personal dispute. 

He assured that necessary legal procedures have been taken and that the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
